Two bomb attacks in the central Nigerian city of Jos have killed at least 44 people and left at least 67 injured, according to the BBC.

The attacks happened at a restaurant and a mosque on Sunday night.

Although nobody has claimed responsibility so far, Boko Haram is the suspected group for having carried out attacks in Jos before. Jos however is not in north-east Nigeria, from where the deadly terror group operates.

In the last few days, more than 200 people have been killed in Nigeria in a series of blasts.
