Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma made a perfect comedian partner and the Sony TV Show hasn’t been quite the same since the former quit after an in-flight brawl while returning from Australia. Since then, there have been many rumours floating in the industry over their growing differences.
The show lost the battle of TRP and was even pushed out of the top 10 programmes on entertainment channels. This apparently took its toll on Kapil’s health as he reportedly collapsed twice while shooting his programme. Such was his inability that the famous actor-comedian could not even complete his shooting on both the occasions.
There were reports that Sunil’s departure from the show had adversely impacted Kapil. This explained why he desperately wanted the Dr Mashoor Gulati-fame actor to return to his show.
Kapil even wished Sunil on his birthday when he wrote, “Wish u a very happy birthday @WhoSunilGrover paji … may god bless u with all the happiness of this world. Lots of love always 🙂 (sic)”
Sunil replied, “Thanks Bhaji! Stay happy and healthy. Love.”
On 23 August (Wednesday), Sunil was interacting with his fans on Twitter when someone asked him to comment on Kapil’s next Bollywood flick, Firangi.
The user wrote, “@WhoSunilGrover paaji kapil di firangi bare kuch kahoge???
To which Sunil replied, “All the best.” This tweet conclusively established that there was no tension between them. Both actors have been incredibly dignified while commenting in public about each other.
