Saif Ali Khan has been in spotlight for many reasons lately. First he was dragged in the legal wrangling involving her daughter Sara Ali Khan, who was sued by director Abhishek Kapoor over Kedarnath.
Then he’s had to constantly deal with Mumbai’s paparazzi who would do anything to click a decent photo of Saif’s son Taimur. Saif recently told media that Taimur had calling him ‘abba.’ This was perhaps one of the first words uttered by chhote nawab.
On Taimur’s comfort with camera, Saif told DNA, “Taimur should be freely able to take his evening outing in the park. It becomes difficult in certain situations, but the photographers are really friendly. They are just doing their jobs and they don’t push him or his nanny, which is really kind. They aren’t aggressive so I’m happy.”
Taimur, according to Saif, has also started to utter other two words, ‘baby’ and ‘gum’ adding that whenever the 17-month-old baby saw a chewing gum, he would just scream ‘gum.’
In March, Kareena Kapoor Khan had made a stunning revelation on the controversy surrounding her child’s name post Taimur’s birth. She told journalist Rajdeep Sardesai at India Today Conclave that her husband Saif Ali Khan was ready to change the child’s name from Taimur to Faiz, but ‘I was not going to succumb to public pressure.’
Kareena said that just like his name’s meaning, Taimur will grow up to be an ‘Iron Man.’
She said, “Saif was ready to change his name to Faiz but I was not going to succumb to public pressure; my son is Taimur, and will grow up to be, like his name, an Iron Man one day.”
