“Not 1940’s Nazi Germany. This is 2021 #HaridwarlGenocidalMeet in India”: British MP calls for intervention by global powers as Hindutva terrorists’ call for Muslims’ genocide

A British parliamentarian has called for an urgent intervention by global powers after videos of Hindutva terrorists in Uttarakhand calling for Muslims’ genocide went viral on social media. Labour MP Naz Shah took to Twitter to register her outrage in a series of tweets as she questioned the silence of the international fraternity.

She wrote, “This is not 1940’s Nazi Germany. This is 2021 #HaridwarlGenocidalMeet in India.Calling for the killing of Muslims. This is happening now. For those who say it’s a fringe group, Hitler was once also considered to be a part of the ‘fringe’. Where is the global outcry?”

She wrote in her subsequent tweet, “This is a call for #Genocide. This is a call for #EthnicCleansing. We can’t turn a blind eye to this. We can’t say we didn’t know. The world must act against this. It must act NOW.”

The so-called ‘Dharm Sansad (Religious parliament) was attended by known Hindutva terrorist Yati Narasimhanand, his accomplices Hindu Raksha Sena President Swami Prabodhanand Giri, Swami Anandswaroop, Sadhvi Annapurna and BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay among others. Speakers called for the ethnic cleansing of Muslims as they said that Hinduism was in danger in India. They called for the arming of Hindus with one speaker suggested the solution in the genocide of 20 lakh Muslims.

Sadhvi Annapurna of the Niranjani Akhara said in her hate speech, “If any demons threaten my Hindu religion, then I will take up arms to protect Hindu religion even if I’m condemned as (Nathuram) Godse (killer of Mahatma Gandhi)… This is an alarming situation. If we show our resolve, then India will not become Islamic but a Sanatan Vedic Hindu nation… Let’s take a pledge that we will not let a Muslim become India’s prime minister in 2029. If required, we can kill them and are prepared to go to jail. We will be considered victorious even if 100 of us join the army and we are able to kill 20 lakh Muslims.”

Yati Narasimhanand said that swords wouldn’t be enough to kill Muslims but added that weaponising Hindus was important to punish Muslims. “You will attain victory in war only if you have better weapons. This alone will protect you (Hindus).”

Narasimhanand advised speakers to not say anything which reduces the significance of arming Hindus against Muslims.

BJP leader Upadhyay, for his part, addressed Hindutva terrorist Yati Narasimhanand as his guru. Upadhyay had earlier distanced himself from the hate speech issued by Hindutva terrorist Yati Narasimhanand at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

One Hindutva terrorist from Bihar, identified as Dharamdas, said that he would have fired several rounds of bullets into the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s chest when the latter said in parliament that minorities must have the preference on resources of the country.
