Police in Rajasthan say that they’ve booked a special judge and two of his associates for allegedly raping a minor boy under sections of POCSO Act. The judge is identified as Jitendra Singh Goliya, while the other two are his steno Anshul Soni and staff member Rahul Katara.

The alleged incident took place in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district. The boy’s mother had filed a police complaint against the judge. The victim’s mother had accused the judge of raping her son for a month by intoxicating his drinks with narcotic substances.
“On the basis of the complaint, an FIR has been registered against Judge Jitendra Goliya and two others for rape and other charges under sections of POCSO Act. The investigation of the case has been handed over to a senior officer,” Mathura Gate SHO Ram Nath was quoted by news agency PTI.
News agency ANI reported that the case had now been handed over to a senior officer.

Judge Goliya reportedly handled cases related to anti-corruption. He allegedly threatened the family of dire consequences if they reported the matter to the police.
According to the complaint, Judge Goliya befriended the boy at the District Club Company Bagh where he often went to play tennis. According to the boy’s mother, ACB Circle Officer Parmeshwar Lal Yadav also threatened to kill the boy if he decided to approach the police about his routine sexual assault.
