The creation of a separate homeland within the Kashmir Valley would be the only “viable option” for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits and any attempt to dilute or deviate from this core ideology would be “resisted” by the community, an organisation for the displaced Pandits today said.
“Our geo-political aspirations are well articulated in the Margdarshan Resolution and these have been endorsed from time by the community all these 25 years of exile,” President of Panun Kashmir, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said at a function today in Jammu.
“Kashmiri Pandit community is well aware of the ground realities in Kashmir and cannot be hoodwinked by the strategic statements issued by political leaders,” he further claimed.
