Janhvi Kapoor was seen sister Khushi who became uncontrollable emotionally at the launch of the Dhadak‘s trailer in Mumbai on Monday as the latter felt the absence of their later mother Sridevi.

Dhadak is a debut film for Janhvi Kapoor, who will be seen acting opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishaan Khattar. Janhvi was busy with her shooting for the film when Sridevi died a tragic death in Dubai earlier this year.

The video of both the sisters sobbing uncontrollably while remembering their mother has now gone viral after it was shared on Instagram. “I definitely miss her today. The biggest and most helpful tip she has given me is to work hard and to feel every emotion,” Janhvi was quoted by News18.

Khushi was seen crying with tears rolling down her cheeks as her friends desperately consoled and hugged her. The sisters were accompanied by their father and producer, Boney Kapoor. Janhvi added, “Papa did not give me any acting tips, but love, encouragement and a lot of support. So I think that is more than enough.”

Earlier, their step-brother Arjun Kapoor had penned a heartfelt message ahead of the release of the Dhadak trailer. He had written, “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever #JanhviKapoor cause your trailer comes out… Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry.

“I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue.”

Sridevi had died due to accidental drowning in a Dubai hotel. She was conferred with the National Award for her acting in film Mom.
