Sacked Delhi minister Asim Ahmed Khan on Saturday questioned his dismissal by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

He said, ” Yesterday I was asked to resign and I did. But I have still not got the copy of the cd of the audio tape. If one voice in the audio tape is mine, who is the second voice? Second voice is of AAP’s minority wing vice-pres Shakeel Malik. Why was his name hidden? why was he addressed as a middleman?”

Khan also said that there was a ‘threat to my life’ and he was receiving ‘strange phone calls’ adding that he was being made a ‘pawn in a great conspiracy.’

He said, ” Mai saaf suthri chhavi ka insaan hun, patani mujhe kin rajnaetic kaarno se bali ka bakra bana dia gya.”

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday had announced the sacking of his Food and Supplies Minister Khan because the latter was alleged to have asked for a bribe of Rs 6 lakh from a builder.

Kejriwal had also released an audio tape containing the phone conversation of Khan and an unknown person. He also announced that he was referring the matter to the CBI to investigate the corruption charges against the former minister.

On Saturday, Kejriwal also tweeted that he will meet his MLAS and their families on Sunday to remind them the reason why Aam Aadmi Party was formed.

He tweeted, “Meeting all MLAs, with families, tomo eve. To remind them why we came in politics. To warn them that Asim Khan episode shud not happen again.”

AAP, much against general expectation, won 67 of the 70 seats in Delhi in the February, decimating all opposition. The BJP, which spent huge amounts of money on campaign, could win just three seats.

Khan has said that he will soon reveal the real story leading to his sacking on Friday.
