Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh have lashed out at ‘roadside leader’ Yogi Adityanath after the UP Chief Minister blamed the Delhi government for the spread of the coronavirus.

Addressing Kejriwal disparagingly, Adityanath had written, “Listen Kejriwal, You forced the workers of UP to leave Delhi when the entire humanity was groaning due to the pain of Corona. Your government did an undemocratic and inhuman act like leaving even small children and women helpless on the UP border in the middle of the night. Call you a traitor or…”

Adityanath’s tweet had come immediately after he had slammed Kejriwal for calling Narendra Modi a liar. Adityanath had said that Kejriwal’s comments for Modi were objectionable and the Delhi chief minister should apologise for his language.

Reacting to Adityanath’s disparaging tweet for Kejriwal, AAP MP Sanjay Singh wrote on Twitter, “Listen, Adityanath. Don’t you think that your language is that of the roadside leader instead of the chief minister?”

Kejriwal too responded to Adityanath’s tweet as he wrote, “Listen Yogi, You just let it be. Just like the dead bodies of the people of UP were floating in the river and you were giving advertisements of your false achievements in the Time magazine by spending crores of rupees. I have never seen such a cruel and cruel ruler like you.”

Uttar Pradesh goes to the polls in seven stages this month with the counting of votes scheduled to be held on 10 March.
