Police in Andhra Pradesh have arrested the man, who killed his techie wife before carrying her dead body in a suitcase. Maramreddy Sreekanth Reddy is accused of killing his 27-year-old wife Bhuvaneswari before disposing of her body by burning in Tirupati.

According to the police, Reddy was tracked down near Vijaywada through his mobile. The cops confirmed that the red suitcase being pulled by Reddy in the CCTV footage indeed had his dead wife’s body.

The police had arrested a taxi driver a day after the charred body of Bhuvaneswari was found from Tirupati. During the interrogation, the taxi driver reportedly revealed how Reddy had travelled in his cab from his apartment and returned with his little child.

Bhuvaneswari worked as a techie in Cognizant, while Reddy was reported to be an anti-corruption activist. He was, however, employed for several months.

In the CCTV footage, Reddy was seen arriving at his apartment with his child while carrying an empty suitcase, which had bought from Reliance Mart. He was later seen dragging a heavy suitcase, which now cops say had his wife’s dead body.

The alleged murder of a techie by her husband has sent shockwaves across Andhra Pradesh. Every part of her body was burnt except some bones and skull. The Andhra Pradesh Police have decided to send the samples for forensic examination.
