Aam Aadmi Party leader, Ashish Khetan, has said that he was ready to debate with his former colleagues, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav on Delhi Jan Lokpal Bill, tabled in the assembly on Monday.

The journalist turned politician took to twitter to make his intention known.

He said, “I am willing to have a public debate with both @_YogendraYadavj ji & ji on Jan Lokpal Bill, 2015.”

Earlier on Tuesday, he also posted a series of tweets countering the allegations levelled by Bhushan and Yadav who accused Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, of causing deception to people of Delhi by diluting the effectiveness of anti-graft bill.

Khetan said that while Bhushan had played a key role in exposing 2G and coal scam, he needed to answer ‘a few questions about his politics in last 1 year.’

Khetan asked, “Why has Prashant ji never said a word on the massive DDCA scam & demanded a probe into allegations made against Ji? Why has Prashant ji suddenly stopped raising the issue of black money & lack of progress in the probe of foreign accounts by Modi govt?”

He continued, “Why didn’t Prashant ji say a word in protest when Modi govt hijacked the ACB of Delhi govt leaving no recourse for delhites to complain? Why has Prashant ji stopped raising the issue of the nexus between Modi ji and Adani and Ambani?

“Why Prashant Ji & Yogendra ji never protested against Modi ji’s failure to appoint a Lokpal even 1 & 1/2 yrs after becoming PM? Why Prashant ji didn’t protest outside Modi ji’s residence when he refused to take any action against in Vyapam scam?”

Bhushan, who was expelled from AAP, has been criticising against Delhi Janlokpal Bill by calling it ‘JokePal.’ They staged protests against the bill near Delhi assembly on Monday.

On Tuesday, Yadav announced his plans to to hold candle light march on 1 December on this matter.
