Tanushree Dutta is not happy with Priyanka Chopra’s tweet in her support

Ever since actress Tanushree Dutta dropped a bombshell on being sexually harassed by Nana Patekar, she has received plenty of support from many big names in Bollywood. Among those who have come forward for her support are Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Twinkle Khanna.

Taking to Twitter, Sonam had written, “I believe #TanushreeDatta and @janiceseq85 recollection of the account. Janice is my friend, and she is anything but an exaggerator or a liar. And it’s upto us to stand together.”

Twinkle Khanna, for her part, wrote, “Please read this thread before judging or shaming #TanushreeDutta a working environment without harassment and intimidation is a fundamental right and by speaking up this brave woman helps pave the way towards that very goal for all of us!”

Priyanka too responded to a tweet by Farhan Akhtar and posted a one-liner tweet that read, “Agreed..the world needs to #BelieveSurviviors”

Priyanka addressing Tanushree as a mere survivor did not go down well the Chocolate actor, who said that she also had a name. She told Zoom TV, “Well, it’s amazing. She (Priyanka Chopra) has finally decided to join the bandwagon. It’s probably a smart thing to do at this point of time. But I just want people to know that I am not going to be reduced to a survivor. I have a name, I have a story and I have this truth that I am trying to get out because it’s not for me but for people who will come forward in the generations to come.”

Meanwhile, some of the big names in Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have faced flak from fans on not taking a stand on Tanushree.
