The shocking murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala had brought the spotlight on Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, who claimed responsibility for the murder in a social media post. Now Punjabi music fans are expressing their fear for another prominent singer Mankirt Aulakh. Aulakh had reportedly sought security for himself from the newly elected AAP government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The Punjab Police were investigating the Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambiya’s case when they realised that Aulakh was next on the gangster’s hit list. In March this year, India’s international Kabaddi player, Sandeep Nangal Ambian (originally Sandeep Singh Sandhu), was shot dead in Jalandhar during a tournament.
