Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput simply can’t hide their joy on the arrival of baby Zain Kapoor in their family. Zain is their second child as the couple already have a daughter in Misha, who was born in August 2016, a year after they got married.
In his public reaction to the birth of his son, Shahid had tweeted repeating his father Pankaj Kapur’s stand that his family was complete. Shahid had written, “Zain Kapoor is here and we feel complete. Thank you for all the wishes and blessings. We are overjoyed and so grateful. Love to all.”
An elated Shahid even posted the photo of the gynecologist, Dr Kiran Coelho, who he posed for the camera along with wife Mira. Shahid publicly thanked her for being ‘the best.’
Two days after the birth of baby Zain, Mira celebrated her 24th birthday, when Bollywood’s newest mother once again trended on the internet. However, Shahid had a surprise in store for the ‘mother hen’ for ‘hatching’ the couple’s second child.
Shahid had ordered a special cake for the occasion with an equally special message. This was revealed after a Mumbai-based cakery went public with the photo of the cake. It revealed on Instagram how the cake was a special gesture by Shahid Kapoor to mark the double celebration.
It wrote, “This cake was a special gesture by #ShahidKapoor, as a double celebration was in order, the arrival of Jr. Kapoor & 2nd time Mommy #MiraKapoor’s Birthday!! As little time as we got to put this cake together, we hope it helped in making their Joyous day that much more Memorable .
“Wishing #Mira a very #HappyBirthday & many many #Congratulations with Lots of Love and Best Wishes to the entire Family!!”
Shahid and Mira brought Zain home on Friday. In the photos posted by the couple’s fan groups on social media, Shahid could be seen holding Misha, while Mira was seen carrying the new-born baby.
