British supermodel Kate Moss has sensationally told the court hearing the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial that the actor never pushed or kicked her as claimed by his wife.
36-year-old Heard had claimed that Amber she once came across rumours that her ex-husband pushed Moss down a flight of stairs.
Moss, who was in a relationship with Depp between 1994 and 1998, told the court that the actor never pushed her, but rather that he once came to her aid after she fell down the stairs.
Moss said in her testimony on Wednesday, “As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back…And I screamed because I didn’t know what happened to me and I was in pain.”
Moss, as reported by the BBC, added, “He (Depp) came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”
According to the Guardian website, Heard’s lawyers did not wish to cross-examine Moss and allowed her to leave the courtroom. The British supermodel was called by Depp’s legal team, who appeared to celebrate when her name was mentioned by Heard during her testimony.

Moss’ testimony appears to weaken Heard’s case and add credibility to Depp’s claims that he never exhibited any violent traits during his relationship with Heard.
Depp has denied several allegations made by his ex-wife including her claim that he assaulted her while on their honeymoon on the Orient Express. To the contrary, Depp had said that it was Heard, who hit him once. “I had a sort of shiner [black eye], but it all ended and everything got fine again,” Depp had said.
