Kangana Ranaut claims she has tested positive for COVID-19; FIR filed against actor in Bengal for hate speech; meme fest on Twitter involving Jaggi, Ramdev, Virat Kohli

Pro-BJP actor Kangana Ranaut said on Saturday that she had tested positive for coronavirus a day after the West Bengal Police booked her for hate speech. No sooner did the news on Kangana testing positive for coronavirus emerge, Twitter exploded with a meme fest involving two self-proclaimed godmen, Ramdev and Jaggi.

Kangana wrote on Facebook since she’s been permanently banned from Twitter for issuing a call for genocide to inform about her health. “I was feeling tired and weak with slight burning sensation in my eyes for past few days, was hoping to go to Himachal so got my test done yesterday and today the results came I am covid positive,” she said.

She added, “I have quarantined myself, I had no idea this virus is having a party in my body, now that i know i will demolish it, people please don’t give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more, come let’s destroy this Covid-19 it is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people.”

An activist in Bengal had filed a police case against her for inciting communal hatred using her social media account. Activist Riju Dutta had also alleged that Kangana also maligned the image of West Bengal and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Meanwhile, Twitter has exploded with meme fest with netizens also using photos of Ramdev and Jaggi to imply that both these self-proclaimed godmen were rushing to Kangana’s house with coronavirus medicines.
