Demand for Sunny Leone’s arrest grows as #Arrest_Sunny_Leone trends; actor ‘blackmailed’ with explicit videos; Alia Bhatt too targeted

Hours after Saregama Music said that it will change the title and lyrics of the song featuring Sunny Leone, Hindutva supporters took to Twitter to demand the arrest of pornstar-actor. While some also demanded the arrest of Alia Bhatt, one social media post threatening to ‘blackmail’ Sunny Leone for her explicit videos has left netizens in splits.

Hindutva supporters took to Twitter to trend #Arrest_Sunny_Leone even though Saregama had agreed to replace the controversial song featuring Sunny Leone. There were others who felt that criminal action must also be initiated against Ali Bhatt and Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in their 2013 debut film Student Of The Year.

Meanwhile, some users found a comment made on Instagram by a user, who ‘threatened’ Sunny Leone to release all her explicit videos if she did not reply him on the social media platform. He wrote, “I have some of your videos. I will make them viral if you don’t reply to me.”

The user was referring to Sunny’s porn videos that are widely available on porn websites including the one owned by the Bollywood actor. As expected, this tongue-in-cheek comment left Twitterati in splits.

The song Madhuban Mein Radhika Nache featuring Sunny Leone had courted massive controversy after Hindutva groups reacted angrily to the seductive dance in the video. Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra had warned of legal action if the video was not taken down within three days and an apology issued. Within Saregama had said that it will replace the controversial video with a new song, which will have different lyrics and the title, within the next three days.

Interestingly, the song Madhuban was originally sung by Mohammed Rafi in 1960 in the film Kohinoor.

Meanwhile, the controversial song has clocked more than 13 million views on YouTube alone.
