Renowned music composer Vishal Dadlani has taken a brutal dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi by accusing him of indulging in a cheap PR stunt by agreeing to meet a girl, the daughter of a BJP MP.
Vishal tweeted in Hindi, “If country’s farmers and journalists bereft of sycophancy also disguise as children and write letters seeking an appointment for meeting…. Who knows, the man with the best beard may meet them for the sake of the PR? By the way, isn’t this girl’s father a BJP MP?”
The celebrated Bollywood music composer was reacting to tweet by a BJP functionary, who claimed how Modi had swiftly responded to a letter from a 10-year-old girl, expressing her desire to meet the prime minister.

The BJP functionary shared Modi’s photo with the girl as he wrote, “A 10-year-old girl child wrote an email to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “I am Anisha and I want to meet you.” What followed next? The prime minister replied to the mail and said, “Come running.” Have you seen such prime minister anywhere?”
What the BJP functionary did not write was that the girl in question was the daughter of a prominent BJP MP from Maharashtra. The MP in question, according to News18, is Sujay Vikhe Patil, whose father Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has also been a veteran BJP politician and a former minister in Maharashtra. Sujay Vikhe Patil won from Ahmednagar parliamentary seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Thousands of farmers have been protesting against the controversial farm laws at the Delhi borders for many months, but PM Modi has not cared to listen to their grievances. Modi has also not held a single press conference despite being the country’s prime minister for more than seven years. He has only granted one-on-one interviews to members of what’s mockingly referred to as pliable media.
