Madhya Pradesh’s BJP Home Minister Narottam Mishra has ordered an inquiry into comments made by actor Shweta Tiwari. This was after Shweta told reporters in Bhopal that God measures her bra size.
Shweta was in the Madhya Pradesh capital to promote her web series based on the fashion world. In response to a question from a reporter, Shweta said laughingly, “Meri bra ka size bhagwan leta hai. (God takes the measurement of my bra).”
In the web series actor Sourabh Raaj Jain is playing the role of a bra fitter. Sourabh had earlier played the character of Lord Krishna in several shows. Shweta’s comments were aimed at her co-star.
One reporter raised the issue before Mishra during his press conference saying that the former Bigg Boss winner had mocked the sentiments of Hindus. Mishra, who is known to use his government machinery against Bollywood celebrities on the pretext of representing the Hindu religion, said that he had watched the video and ordered an inquiry.
“I’ve heard and even watched it and I condemn this statement (by Shweta). I’ve asked the Bhopal Police Commissioner to study the entire issue and submit me a detailed report within 24 hours,” Mishra said.
Hindutva supporters took to Twitter to express their outrage and demanded action against Shweta.

The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next 3 days,” the statement from Saregama read.
Within days, the controversial song had disappeared from the internet and the music company had uploaded a new track with changed lyrics.
