Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is all set to offer free national roaming from June 15. The announcement was made today by Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad.

“From 15th June BSNL roaming will be free all over the nation,” Prasad said in a press conference.

Last month, BSNL had slashed the roaming tariff by up to 40 percent for its prepaid and postpaid mobile customers following a telecom tariff order issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
