Extremists not RAW responsible for attack: Pak police

Karachi police revealed that religious extremists was responsible for the last week’s bus attacks, and not RAW (Research and Analysis Wing), India’s intelligence agency.

Additional Inspector General of Police, Karachi; Ghulam Qadir Thebo reportedly said that the police had nabbed four militants, including Tahir, the mastermind of the Safoora Goth carnage for their role in the attack. He added that the attackers were associated with an `Al Qaeda-inspired` militant group and belonged to different ethnic backgrounds.

Gunmen on motorbikes had attacked a bus carrying members of a religious minority killed 43 and leaving 13 injured on Wednesday.
