E-commerce giant Amazon has started selling toilet rolls with the face and tweets of US President Donald Trump on its website.

A single toilet roll with famous Trump tweets is being sold for $ 11.99 while the same with his face is available for $ 12.95. The website is offering free delivery for both the products on orders over $25 while calling them as ‘American Art Classics.’

Some of the tweets printed on the toilet roll are dating back to 2012, when he targetted the then President Barack Obama raised questions on the American democracy.

One such tweet, posted on 6 November 2012, says, “The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy.” Another tweet from 3 September 2013 reads, “What I am saying is stay out of Syria.”

The selection of tweets appears to highlight the irony in Trump’s stand primarily because his stand on those issues has dramatically changed since he became the president. For example, his tweet on Russia says, “Do you think Putin will be going to The Miss Universe Pageant in November in Moscow — if so, will he become my new best friend?”

The best tweet on the toilet roll is “Are you allowed to impeach a president for gross incompetence?”

Amazon is founded by Jeff Bezos, who also owns The Washington Post, a popular American newspaper that was recently attacked by Trump for its ‘fake news.’

“The #AmazonWashingtonPost, sometimes referred to as the guardian of Amazon not paying internet taxes (which they should) is FAKE NEWS!,” Trump had tweeted on 28 July.

The recent developments assume significance in light with how the Indian administration had gone after those who made attempt to mock Prime Minister Narendra Modi using Snapchat’s Dog Filter application.

One of India’s most popular comedy groups, AIB, was slapped with a police complaint after its founder Tanmay Bhat posted an image of Modi using Snapchat’s Dog Filter option.

While posting a photo of PM Modi’s lookalike, the AIB tweet had said, “Dog filter is lyf.’ The group had also added a Snapchat dog filter on Modi’s image while captioning his photo as #wanderlust. The group was forced to delete the tweet in view of the police complaint and protests by the BJP supporters on social media platforms.
