Congress leader Tom Vadakkan on Friday reportedly accused the Central government of making fake promises by emphasizing that Prime Minister Narendra should take a selfie with garbage in the background to show reality to people.

Vadakkan told a news agency, “How about PM take a selfie with garbage in the background? This is a selfie Government. They only made fake promises.” He further said, “PM should come out and say that his ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ was a “jumla”.”
