US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has termed the remour fuelled by “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff in a chat show that she was having an affair with the the US President Donald Trump ‘disgusting.’ Haley, who is of Indian origin, said that the reports of she having an affair with Trump illustrated kinds of accusations women in the workplace face.
“It is absolutely not true,” Haley was quoted by CNN. She added, “But it goes to a bigger issue that we need to always be conscious of. At every point in my life, I’ve noticed that if you speak your mind and you’re strong about it and you say what you believe, there is a small percentage of people that resent that.”
A line in the Michael Wolff’s book claims that Trump has been spending “a notable amount of private time with Haley” on Air Force One. This led readers to speculate on social media platforms that the woman in questions was her.

However, Hayley said that she had been to Air Force One with Trump only once and she was never alone with the US President. “I’ve never talked once to the President about my future and I am never alone with him,” She added.
The leaked audio of Trump before the US Presidential elections had shown Trump claim his obsession for sex. Trump’s campaign was jolted with a 2005 video of him surfacing in which he was making lewd remarks about women, prompting a rare apology from him.
Earlier this month, it emerged that a lawyer for Trump had allegedly paid $130,000 to a porn star for not talking in public about a sexual relationship with the then Republic candidate in the weeks before the 2016 presidential election.
