Police in London say that they are dealing with an incident of vehicle collision in north London.
The police statement said that there were multiple casualties.
It said, “Police were called just after 0020hrs 18 June to reports of a vehicle in collision with pedestrians.
“Officers are on scene with other emergency services. There are a number of casualties being worked on at the scene.”
There has been one person arrested, added the statement adding that enquiries were underway.
London ambulance said, “We have sent a number of resources to an incident in Seven Sisters Road. More information will follow when we have it.”
London traffice said, “A503 Seven Sisters Rd is now closed N/B at Hornsey Rd & S/B at Rock St due to an emergency services incident. Seek alternative route.”
Last month seven people had died in a terrorist attack at London Bridge.
At a concert in Manchester in May, a suicide attack had left more than 20 people killed.
Police have stayed away from calling it a terror act as of now.
Some reports also said that a van had run into a group of Muslims, coming from the mosque in Finsbury Park after their special Ramadan prayer, Taraweeh.
An eye-witness said, “Apparently a van has ploughed into people coming from
#FinsburyPark mosque. People are reporting of several injured, some fatalities.”
