Odia daily Sambad has carried a front page apology for carrying the sketch of senior journalist, Rajdeep Sardesai, as a terror suspect.
As reported by jantakareporter.com on Friday, the daily had carried Rajdeep’s sketch as one of the five terror suspects currently sought by Maharashtra government after they were reported to have been spotted near Uran naval base.
In its apology, published by the paper’s editor, it said that the error was unintentional.
Reacting to the apology, Rajdeep tweeted, “Appreciate unreserved apology from editor @sambad_odisha on front page. Lesson for all of us to be more careful (sic).”
