CEO and founder of Vu Televisions, Devita Saraf faced backlash and criticism on social media platforms like twitter, after the publishing of a full page advertisement in Times of India.
The advertisement for Vu Televisions was published today and read “Congratulations Mr. President”.
This led to an instant backlash on social media. The advertisement was called narcissistic and “boot-licking” in nature. Questions were also raised on Devita’s take on feminism considering Donald Trump’s unpopularity stemming form his reported sexist remarks.

A very effective ad. Has convinced me to never buy #VuTelevision. And that book @DevitaSaraf is holding…so subtle. pic.twitter.com/AXOyYcnPDO
