Noida Police have cracked two murder mysteries both related to suspected extramarital relationships. In the first case, police in Greater Noida have made a huge breakthrough by arresting the alleged killers of one Dharmpal, who was murdered by his wife and her lover on 5 August.
According to Greater Noida Police, the deceased’s wife and her lover, Usman, had killed Dharmpal by slitting his throat in an under construction building of D-107 in Sector 2.
Police arrested both the killers from Sector 20 on Thursday. Usman reportedly hails from Sujdu village in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. Police have also recovered the knife from the accused’s custody. Both have been sent to judicial custody.
The unnamed woman and her lover decided to kill Dharmpal after he became suspicious of their illicit relationship.
In a separate incident, police have also arrested a man for killing his wife in Sector 5 in Noida. The accused Aslam told police that he killed his wife Ruby after he suspected her of being in a sexual relationship with her former husband Rafique.
According to police, Ruby had split with her former husband four years ago, after which she got married to Aslam. However, the accused was informed about his wife’s illicit relationship with her former husband. This reportedly enraged him, prompting him to stab Ruby to death.
He’s been booked under Section 302 of the IPC and sent to judicial custody. Cops have also recovered the murder weapon and Aslam’s blood-soaked shirt from Sector 2 in Noida.
