Two Indian students stabbed to death, one injured in Ukraine

In a shocking development, two Indian students are reported to have been stabbed to death in Ukraine, reports news agency ANI.

The Indian students were stabbed allegedly by three Ukraine nationals on 10 April in Uzhgorod Medical College.

According to Ministry of External Affairs, Pranav Shaindilya and Ankur Singh died while Indrajeet Chauhan is recuperating.

Ukraine police has arrested the accused on the statement from Chauhan.

The MEA said, “Our Embassy in (Ukraine capital) Kiev is ascertaining facts from police, university and local contacts. Embassy has also spoken to families of the deceased.”
