Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday made a come back as the external affairs minister on twitter.
Her twitter handle now has her designation, which says ‘Minister for external affairs, India.’
Swaraj’s designation had disappeared from her twitter bio over the last few days. This led to intense speculation on social media with many people even suggesting she was destined to be sacked amidst controversy relating to Lalit Modi.
A foreign ministry spokesperson, however, suggested that there was no need to read too much into this as the twiiter account in question was Swaraj’s personal one.

Opposition have been demanding her resignation and vowed not to allow functioning of parliament proceedings until the government gave in to their demands.
Parliament’s monsoon session, which started on Tuesday, has hardly been able to function amidst chaos created by the opposition parties.
On Wednesday, Swaraj said that she was going to announce a Congress leader’s name who had pressed her to issue a diplomatic passport to a coal tl scam tainted person.
Later, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha continued to be disrupted until the upper house was adjourned for the day.
