Shatrughan Sinha throws his weight behind “masses’ favourite” Kejriwal, takes dig at Modi

BJP MP from Patna, Shatrughan Sinha has thrown his weight behind the Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, amidst the raging controversy over the CBI raids at the latter’s office on Tuesday.

Describing Kejriwal “masses’ favourte and popular” chief minister, the Bollywood actor-turned-politician questioned the timing of the raid. In a series of tweets posted on early Wednesday morning, Sinha called the move ill-advised.

Taking a dig at PM Narendra Modi, Sinha said that Kejriwal ought to avoided using harsh words for ‘dynamic action hero PM.’

He said, “Don’t approve of avoidable language of Delhi CM about our dashing dynamic action hero PM. But need to look within. How why & who started it? In politics, timing is everything. This was definitely not the right time for the raid. Hope wish &pray that this does not boomerang on us.”

Questioning the timing of the raids, Sinha asked who had advised for such a move particularly when the parliament was in session.

“Wonder who advised for the strike, that too while Parliament was in session. After all, CM is not only very popularbut masses’ favorite too Good sense must prevail upon those who have brought embarrassment to our people and our leadership…that too at this juncture.”

Sinha has been criticial of his party’s policies and decisions even in the past. The popular actor of yesteryear was very vocal during Bihar elections and was in news for his alleged close proximity to the party’s rival and the state chief minister, Nitish Kumar.

  1. If you have RSS support you can do everything in BJP. Everybody knows how AAP got clean sweep in Delhi state election with the hidden suport of RSS? If there is no support from RSS, BJP can’t win any election like Bihar….
