Seven patients lose eye sight because of infected injection in Varanasi

In a tragic incident on Sunday, seven eye patients lost their sight after alleged use of infected injection by doctor at Sir Sunderlal Hospital.

According to Lanka police station SHO, sanjeev Mishra, five victims lodged given a joint complain.

“They lost sight in 1 eye next day. We’re investigating about other two. Patients had consulted Dr OPS Maurya on Jan 28. He asked them to buy an injection collectively for Rs 23500,” Mishra was quoted by ANI.
