Samosa vendor’s son is Pakistan’s topper in class 12 exams, Yet no financial help in sight


What’s being seen a great success story, a samosa vendor’s son in Pakistan has topped the class 12 examination.

Shah Faisal, as well as finding time to study, sells samosas, a fried snack with a savoury filling, with his father in Pakistan’s north-west province, Kayber Pakhtunkhwa.

News agency IANS quoting the News Internation report said that his hard work and love for education was what had turned him into a brilliant student.

But even this remarkable success has not helped the Pakistan topper in not financial Faisal has now got himself enrolled for System Engineering program in the Peshawar University but lack of funds remains a barrier for him.

He continues to sell samosas with his father after returning from college.

Faisal has appealed to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government to get him a scholarship in the Peshawar University.
