Salim Khan took to twitter to vent out his anger against Milkha reminding him the contribution the ‘Indian film industry’ had made in resurrecting him from ‘fading away in oblivion.’

His tweets read, “Milkhaji it is not Bollywood it is the Indian Film Industry and that too the largest in the world. The same industry which resurrected you from fading away in oblivion.

“Salman khan may not have competed but is an A level swimmer cyclist and weight lifter. Sportsmen are performing because of sports lovers like us.”

After an extraordinary attack by the Olympics medalist Yogeshwar Dutt for Salman Khan, the legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh had questioned the appointment of the Bollywood megastar’s appointment as the Goodwill ambassador for Rio Olympics.

Milkha had said, “Indian Olympics Association has taken a wrong decision. We don’t need any ambassador. Sportsmen representing nation in #RioOlympics2016 are our ambassador. IOA shouldn’t have made a Bollywood person(Salman Khan) ambassador for sports event. Will they make a sports person an ambassador for Bollywood function? Government must intervene. IOA must reconsider its decision. If at all there is a need to send an ambassador, I think P. T. Usha, Rajvardhan Singh Rathore, Ajit Pal can be better choices.”
