Actor Raveena Tandon on Sunday said that she had reached a stage in her career where she can be choosy about work adding that she was not dying to work in films.

Tandon “Films are not my life. They are part of my life. I have children, husband, home, parents, shows and endorsements. I have a lot of things to do. I am not dying to work in films. I would’ve signed all the films which came my way if I wanted to see my name every Friday. I am not interested in that.”
Her comments evoked sarcastic reactions from Bollywood fans on Twitter, where many posted tweets mocking her statement.
While some poked fun at her support for the BJP, others asked if her statement was a sign that no producer was approaching her for a film.
In November 2015, Tandon had launched an all out attack against Aamir Khan accusing him of hating Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reacting to Aamir’s statement on growing religious intolerance, Tandon had said, ”
Using incredibly harsh language bordering abuse, Tandon had tweeted, “Let’s cut the BS-why can’t these people openly say that they weren’t happy since d day Modi became PM..instead of shaming the whole country.”
It seems Aamir’s fans have still not forgiven her for her open support for politics of hate and bigotry in India.
Here are some tweets reflecting anger for the actor.
But the film will surely die if she gets work! 🙂 https://t.co/tlJc7VWgrF
