Actor Ranveer Singh has recently dominated media headlines because of his wedding with Deepika Padukone in Italy last week. On Wednesday, the first of the two receptions was organised in Bengaluru, Deepika’s hometown.
The second reception will be hosted by Ranveer’s parents Anu and Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani at Grand Hyatt hotel in Mumbai on 28 November.
Ranveer, who will be next seen in Simmba, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, has posted an emotional video, sharing his experience of working with Rohit Shetty. The video, which was believed to have shot on the last day of the shooting for Simmba, Ranveer is heard saying how he always wanted to work with Rohit. He says, “I hate making speeches, especially on the occasion of wrapping up the shooting. But, I have a lot to speak about today. I was always a big fan of sir (Rohit). I always felt that wouldn’t it be great to work with him? Then I got the chance to work in Simmba.”
He then goes on to say that his experience had exceeded even the best of his expectations. “I’ve never had such a blast working in a movie in all these years of my career. Things that I’ve learnt here are things I will carry forward to the rest of my life,” he says.
According to Ranveer, Simmba will smash all box office records once it’s released in December this year. The trailer of Simmba is scheduled to be released on 3 December, while film will hit theatres on 28 December.
