Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma may be in trouble after a report by a website claimed that he may have shot his erotic documentary God, Sex And Truth, featuring porn star Mia Malkova in a hotel in Hyderabad and not Europe, as was widely reported.

According to Great Andhra website, a women rights activist has claimed that she had proofs that RGV filmed the movie in a five star hotel in Hyderabad. The website also claimed that Mia Malkova had come down to Hyderabad to shoot the GST adding that ‘couple of RGV’s close friends in Tollywood were also spotted in those working stills.’

Meanwhile, Varma tweeted denying TV9’s report that he was called by CCS Police Station in Hyderabad to appear on 23 February (tomorrow). He wrote, “It’s baseless false propaganda by Tv 9 that I was called by CCS on Friday the 23rd ..in reality that is not true at all and it’s just a part of a malicious campaign by Tv 9 to spread lies about me. (sic)”

If the claims by women rights activist on Varma shooting porn film in a five star hotel are true, the filmmaker could even face jail sentence as shooting and distribution of pornographic materials are considered illegal in India. The hotel in question too could face serious legal consequences under 67 & 67A of IT Act, Section 292 and 293 of IPC with an imprisonment up to three years.

Varma was widely condemned for his film GST involving a porn star by women rights activist. However, the filmmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday to deny the charges of being a pervert. He wrote, “People blaming me for saying derogatory things, called me PERVERT,PSYCHO, TERRORIST and I should be SHOT. Anyways my lawyers are initiating the necessary action for law to take its own course and I am further not going to speak on matters under investigation and subjudice.”
