Rajasthan: BJP MP slaps toll plaza guard


Bharaitya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) Bahadur Singh Koli was caught on a CCTV camera slapping a toll attendant in Bharatpur of Rajasthan. In a video, Koli and his men are seen hitting a toll attendant.

The incident occurred on July 11 when Bharatpur MP Bahadur Singh Koli was passing through Ludhawai toll plaza on Agra-Bikaner Highway in his SUV and was stopped by two guards.

In the CCTV footage which went viral on social media , the MP is seen slapping the guard.
When contacted, the MP said that the guards tried to stop the vehicle with stick in their hands.

“I was returning on July 11 to Bharatpur from the house of my supporter when the guards tried to stop the vehicle.

When the driver stopped the vehicle, they misbehaved with him therefore I intervened,” he told PTI today.

When asked whether he slapped the guard, Koli said,”Guards usually misbehave with drivers but the matter was resolved by mutual understanding and no FIR was registered.”

Koli is a member of Lok Sabha who was elected Bharatpur in 2014. He was a former member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elected in 2013 from Weir. He was also elected to Lok Sabha 1999 from Bayana in Rajasthan.
