Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his insensitivity towards the slain CRPF soldiers. This after fresh visuals showed Modi in an extremely poor light. Posting the photos of Modi’s documentary shoot in Uttrakhand at a time when news of CRPF soldiers’ killings had become a public knowledge, Gandhi said that the former was the ‘Prime Time Minister’ of India.
He wrote, “Prime Time Minister continued to busy in his film shooting three hours after 40 jawans had been martyred in Pulwama. Whole of India and martyrs’ families were engulfed with the sea of sorrow, but he (Modi) continued to do his photoshoot in the river smilingly.”
पुलवामा में 40 जवानों की शहादत की खबर के तीन घंटे बाद भी ‘प्राइम टाइम मिनिस्टर’ फिल्म शूटिंग करते रहे।

His attack came a day after his party, the Congress, accused Modi of extraordinary insensitivity towards the fallen soldiers. In his press conference, senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala had called Modi’s act ‘inhuman and insensitive.’
Modi had gone ahead with the shooting of a Discovery TV documentary on his so-called spiritual journey before becoming the prime minister. Fresh visuals showed that he was aware of the Pulwama attack but not only did the PM continue with his film shooting but he kept changing his suits for the different occasions on the day.
Modi was seen addressing an election rally in Jhansi just hours after the news of the deadliest terror attack on the Indian armed forces had sent whole of India in the state of mourning.
On Thursday, a section of media namely NDTV, India Today and NewsX were accused of planting a fake story in favour of Modi.
