A radioactive leak had been detected at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Friday, according to ANI reports.
It has been reported that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) anti-sabotage team reached at the spot to monitor the situation. The consignment of sodium iodine allegedly came from Istanbul for Fortis Hospital whose authorities were notified duly about the same.
With regard to the matter, Minister of Home Affairs, Rajnath Singh was reported saying that the leakage at cargo complex in IGI Airport had been plugged.
