Controversy after controversial Radhe Ma welcomed by Delhi Police

A fresh controversy has erupted after a controversial god woman known as Radhe Ma was on Thursday welcomed by members of Delhi Police.

Radhe Ma

In the viral photo, the so-called ‘Radhe Ma’ is seen occupying the chair meant for the SHO at the police station in Delhi’s Vivek Vihar, while the officer is seen standing in awe next to the lady with folded hands.

The photo has angered the members of the civil society and non-BJP parties. Leading the fray was the AIMIM president, Asaduddin Owaisi, who asked, “Law has been made .. rule of law has gone,man in uniform is not accountable to public but to “GOD MAN/WOMAN.”

This comes just days after police in Haryana arrested Honeypreet Singh, who had alleged sexual relationship with another self-styled godman, Gurmeet Singh, now behind bars for 20 years for raping two of his followers.

Radhe Ma, whose real name is Sukhwinder Kaur, is facing serious criminal charges of harassment in Mumbai. In April the Bombay High Court had asked police to record the statement of a city resident who had alleged that self-styled godwoman Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa had instigated her in-laws to harass her for dowry.

Users on Twitter too reacted with shock and anger. Here are some comments;
