Angry parents staged protests outside a private school in Kolkata on Friday after a dance teacher was found to have been sexually abusing a Class 2 student for nearly a year.
Cops were called in to control the angry protesters, consisting of parents. One police personnel was reportedly hurt, reported NDTV. The accused dance teacher has been arrested. The officer from the Tollygunge Police Station was later rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the girl allegedly faced repeated sexual assault by the dance teacher for nearly a year. She was warned by the dance teacher to not tell anyone threatening to bury her alive.
The girl student had recently stopped going to the school. When asked for the reason for her reluctance to go to the school, the victim confided her traumatic experience in her mother prompting the parents to go and meet the school administration on Friday. The parents alleged that the school administration even tried to downplay their allegations.
They were joined by other parents at the school, who all demanded an immediate arrest of the dance teacher. Incidentally, the school in question does not have a CCTV cameras installed.
The school has been identified as Carmel Primary School, which is situated in south Kolkata.
