Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been slammed by the Opposition time and again for his foreign trips which he emphasizes would bring in investment to India under the “Make In India” initiative. But now, the PM has found an unexpected support in the form of Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav. The UP Chief Minister has hailed PM Modi for his successful foreign trips Under opposition attack for his frequent foreign trips.
“People are saying that the Prime Minister is going abroad. It is good for the country as it is bringing investments,” Yadav told media in Fatehpur. “Everyone wants investment, be it in the country or in the state,” Yadav said.
The UP CM stated that the people of the nation are expecting basic facilities and infrastructural developments from the Central government and investments from abroad do help. Speaking about the losses suffered by farmers in his state due to untimely rains and hailstorm, Yadav said his government was committed to provide maximum help and adequate compensation to them.
During his interaction with the media, Yadav took strong exception to the illegal mining reported on the banks of river Yamuna. He said that a probe had been ordered and vowed to take strict action against the ones responsible in the act.
