Not satisfied with Delhi Police’s investigation: Divyansh’s father


The father of the six-year-old student, who allegedly died after falling into a water tank has accused Delhi police of carrying out shoddy investigation into his child’s death.

Divyansh Kakrora’s father told ANI, “I am not satisfied with the investigation carried out by Delhi Police so far.”

His outburst against Delhi police came a day after Arvind Kejriwal government ordered CBI probe into death case of Delhi’s Ryan International School student Divyansh Kakrora.

A government statement said, “The magisterial inquiry pointed out to the suspicious conduct of the school authorities and raised further queries. Therefore, it was decided by the government that in the interest of justice, it will be appropriate to refer the case to the CBI for investigation.”

The magistrate report had said, “Though the school was functioning on January 30, despite it not being a normal working day, there was not a single person to administer medical aid in the medical room, despite continuous announcement having been made in this regard.”
