As Jayalalitha took oath as Tamil Nadu, the National Anthem of India was reportedly cut short by 20 seconds and the followed by the AIADMK party anthem.

No one took notice of it or raised objection despite the presence of the Governor.

AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa was sworn in today for the fifth time as Tamil Nadu chief minister, nearly eight months after she was forced to quit over corruption charges.

Governor K Rosaiah gave oath to Jayalalitha at the Madras University Centenary Auditorium. Actor Rajinikanth, ICC Chairman N. Srinivasan and Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan attended the ceremony.

Jayalalithaa will be holding the key portfolios of home, police, public, all India services, general administration and district revenue officers.
