Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held talks with Ireland Prime Minister Enda Kenny after his arrival in Dublin on a day-long visit.
The health minister Leo Varadkar received Modi at the Dublin airport.

Modi’s visit in Ireland is being taken as the first visit by an Indian prime minister in 59 years.

Modi will depart for New York on Wednesday evening as part of his US tour. The prime minister will be in the US till 29 September.
