Reliance Industries chairman, Mukesh Ambani, on Tuesday endorsed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for creating a conducive environment for businesses in the state.
Addressing the fourth edition of the two-day Bengal Global Business summit said that ‘under, Mamata Banerjee’s leadership West Bengal is becoming Best Bengal.’
The billionaire business also said that his company had invested around Rs 15,000 crore in the state during the last three years adding that this was only possible due to the friendly business climate created under Mamata Banerjee’s rule.
The ruling Trinamool was quick to react to Ambani’s approval of the Bengal government. The party’s official Twitter handle tweeted;

Trinamool’s leader the Rajya Sabha, Derek O’Brien, too took to Twitter announcing how both Ambani and the steel baron Laxmi Mittal had endorsed his party’s governance in Bengal.
Among other participants of the conclave were Laxmi Mittal, Sajjan Jindal of JSW Steel, Kishor Biyani of Future Group, Head of the Kotak group Uday Kotak and chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka group Sanjiv Goenka.
Nine partner countries, 32 countries with big delegations and more than 4000 participants are taking part in the two-day business summit.
