Motorola launches second generation Moto 360 smartwatch

A year after launching its first smartwatch, Motorola has now come up with Moto 360. Billed as Motorola’s second generation smartwatch, the new gadget.

The company has reportedly fixed the issues attached to its first generation of Moto 360 after they received complaints on poor battery life, large size and odd design details.

The new Moto 360 is designed to fit different sizes and will appeal to both and women. Three distinct versions of these smartwatches will consist of ‘ a men’s version in two sizes, a women’s version, and a dedicated sport version, all complete with on-board GPS and outdoor-readable display.’

 

Its prices start from $299(roughly Rs. 19,800) and rises up to $429 (roughly Rs. 28,400). The prices for Moto 360 sport models are not yet out in public domain.

The second generation Moto 360 is expected to be considerably comfortable to wear because of its light weight and absolute small size. For men they will come in 46 mm and 42 mm design, while for women they will be available in 42 mm design.

This new innovation comes up with the aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel with fine Corning Gorilla Glass protecting your screen from scratches. If this wasn’t enough, these watches are believed to be water and dust resistant.

This is what the company state had to say about its new products, “The original Moto 360 is the most successful Android Wear watch ever launched. It was the first true smartwatch to feature a traditional round face, and it established the bar in design, craftsmanship and style.”
