A photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding hands of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind, Hafiz Saeed, has gone viral on WhatsApp.
The photo (see below), which appears to be a screenshot of a Facebook post, also has a message in Hindi, which reads, “Azam Khan has released the photo of Modi meeting Hafiz Saeed in Pakistan. Traitors, now see who the anti-nationals are.”
The widely shared image also has a URL of a Facebook account. However, the URL fb.com/damodardasmodi could not be accessed with the message saying that the link ‘may have expired.’
The photo in question is clearly photoshopped with the person responsible for this mischief having carefully replaced the image of Pakistani prime minister, Nawaz Sharif with that of Hafiz Saeed.
This is the original photo of Modi meeting Sharif in December 2015 during his unscheduled stopover in Lahore on his way back to India.
