Rebel Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas has taken a veiled dig at his leader Arvind Kejriwal after the Congress swept the bypolls in Rajasthan by winning two Lok Sabha and one assembly seats.
Taking to Twitter, Vishwas said, “Today’s Rajasthan bypoll results indicate that the country is once again returned to the grip of the two traditional parties. Some people, who suffered from a sense of insecurity and self obsession has destroyed the dreams of alternative politics by crores of people for another 20-30 years.”

His tweet came on the day the Congress wrested Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha constituencies by huge margins from the BJP while also winning the assembly seat of Mandalgarh. All three seats were previously held by the BJP.
His tweet assumes significance in light of AAP having already announced to contest in this year’s crucial assembly polls of Rajasthan. Vishwas was made in-charge of the party’s Rajasthan affairs last year.
Vishwas had recently hit out at Kejriwal after he was ignored for the Rajya Sabha berth. A minister Delhi’s Kejriwal government had accused him of hatching a conspiracy to topple the AAP government.
